The TEL Group was founded in 1942, by Mr. Taru J. Lalvani, with the formation of The East & West Trading Company. The primary business then was Paper & Pulp. Over the years, the Group has started, or been involved in various Industries including Semiconductors (with Raytheon of U. S. A.), Printing Inks (Lorelleaux Bolton of France), Welding Electrodes & Generators (with Oerlikon of Switzerland). Today TEL is a professionally run Group that is constantly Evolving.
