Modern Natural Products (MNP) is a pioneering company in the area of manufacturing and supplying a wide range of herbal products based on ayurvedic herbs and their extracts. Rajesh Dalmia, its president, has vast experience in herbs, herbal products in India and international trading. Within a span of less than a decade, MNP has carved out an impregnable niche for its products along with a matching reputation all over the world. More recently, with the onset of globalization the company has spread its wings overseas notably besides United States in England, Germany, France, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and in many South American and Asian countries too.

MNP was originally conceived with the mission of scientifically isolating, producing and promoting natural products such as:
- ayurvedic herbs, herbal extracts and formulations
- essential oils, essences and natural colors
- food powders
- natural herbal cosmetics and health products
- spices, spice-based oils and oleoresins
- herbal teas and concentrates
- ayurvedic medicines and phyto-active content
- dried flowers and potpourries

Rajesh Dalmia has successfully initially networked with other domestic firms in the herbal product industry and devised innovative strategies to market their products globally. Consequent to the exponential growth of the herbal industry, MNP has decided to concentrate on its core competence - manufacturing. The shift in focus has spawned two new manufacturing facilities on the outskirts of Mumbai & South India, headed by a renowned scientists. Assisting them is a team of manufacturing and quality development professionals with the additional task of researching and developing new herbal moieties derived from the untapped flora of the Indian sub-continent as well as those based on ancient ayurvedic texts and oriental medical lore. To facilitate this task, MNP has entered into a number of tie-ups with leading domestic and overseas institutions.

MNP complements its flora research operations by development and authentication of new methodologies jointly with several other institutions in the herbal industry. Its vast pool of research and development specialists ensures that the latest methodology, including specialized tests, keeps the company abreast of the fast growing market for flora research.
