Description :
DESIGN: Rectangular horizontal type with movable hearth and vertical lifting door. Heating chamber formed out of heavy high temperature sillimanite refractories with grooves to support heating element on top side walls. High grade insulating brick lining of adequate thickness prevents heat loss and keeps furnace skin temperature minimum. Alternatively ceramic fibre insulation can be provided to improve efficiency.
HEATING ELEMENT: Double branched hair pin type resistance element with reinforced and terminals connected on furnace rear side facilitating easy individual replacement.
BOGIE: Manual or electrical operated incorporating electric motor, reduction gear, electromagnetic brake and limit switches.
CONTROL
By indicating automatic temperature controller along with other accessories centralised in separate floor mounted control cubicle.
SAFETY DEVICE: Interlock between door and bogie, door and heating elements and broken thermocouple safety device for controller.
OPTIONAL: Temperature recorder. hearth plate.
