Acquiring Business Management System (ABMS) is a product for banks that are into acquiring business to better manage their merchant business as well as track usage of their assets (terminals) enabling the bank to improve the profitability of their merchant business. ABMS also allows business users to have real-time online business information as well as important forecasting and what-if analysis capabilities to enable the bank to take informed business decisions.

Importing Transaction data
The product allows importing of transaction data to be loaded into the system which is effectively used to calculate the revenue number. The import module is compatible with transaction data in standard ISO 8583 format.
Merchant Management
MBMS allows complete merchant management in terms of contact details, business terms, and terminals associated with the merchant, locations of the merchants etc.
Terminal Management
Terminal Management allows the bank to store and link terminals to the merchants. It also allows you to specify the various applications running on the terminal which are typically differentiated based on the BINs. Activation/De-Activation of the terminals can also be done using terminal management.
Merchant Rates Management
ABMS features rates management or the fees applicable to the merchant per terminal per location. There are the following various combinations available:
Fixed
Value Based
On Commerce – On total business done by Merchant in Rs. Can be charged x% of that
On Auth only – Transactions where the card has got swiped.
On Successful Auth – Where the card has got swiped and accepted the transaction is not declined
Slabs – Where the Slabs can be fixed on Commerce or on transactions.
Combination - This where the Merchant had to pay the fix rentals as well as the one of the values based formulae.
These rates are used to determine the total commerce and revenue earned per merchant as well as allows invoicing to be done.
Regional/DSA Performance Management
ABMS also provides an extensive regional and DSA performance management in terms of the business generated. It is also security enabled ensuring that one entity cannot view information about another entity.
Security
ABMS features a strong user security built into the product. This enables the bank to specify which users have access to which features in the product and control access to confidential data.

Exception Report - The Merchant Management system allows the bank to enter the targets for the merchant (the minimum amount of business, Merchant is expected to achieve). If merchant is performing below that rate then Merchant falls in the negative category and will be shown in the report. This report also helps the bank in understanding if the DSA has enrolled fictitious merchants.
Ageing Report - This report will show us the Merchants for which amount is pending from 30-45-60 days time period.
Trend Reporting - Revenue generated month-wise across a data range.
MCC wise Trend of revenue - This report gives a trend across various Merchant categories on the total spend.
Forecasting
This module allows the bank to forecast the revenue for a given period. This report is based on the business done across the merchants till date and forecasts the volume for the period specified.
What-if Analysis
This module is very important from the bank’s perspective. It allows the bank to change the rates at which the merchant is being billed and will give the results back on the revenue generated by the bank from that merchant based on the volume of business done by the merchant in the past.
Invoicing and Collection Management
ABMS also generates invoices for the merchants based on the payment scheme setup in the system and based on the transactions or volumes generated during the month. It also facilitates adjustments against any advances from the merchants. ABMS provides also facility to enter all accounting information in terms of payments received against the invoices raised which would enable the bank to have control of collections and receivables.
Database Master Maintenance
This module help in managing different other masters such as:
Application master - This allows to add the different other applications bank forays into.
Card Type Identifier - Helps in entering the BIN for different card types so that the report can be generated on revenue earned on different card types
Consumables - helps in maintaining the log of consumables used by the merchant such as paper roll.
